In Bologna 🇮🇹 on September, 15 2025
Bologna and the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Augusto Righi” welcomed students of the intake 2024/2026 for the start of the third semester of the master’s degree, which officially began on 15 September 2025.
They were welcomed by the Italian Degree Course Coordinator – Prof. Angelo Carbone – and some others member of the teaching staff.
The modules for this semester are as follows:
Compulsory modules sum up to 27 ECTS. No elective courses are foreseen.
The first lessons they attended were those of Computer science for High Energy Physics, held by Prof. Francesco Giacomini and Prof. Luca Clissa.
They will stay in Bologna until the end of December, as required by the programme. Then the choice of destination for the fourth semester awaits them, the period in which they will prepare their thesis in view of the final exams scheduled for September 2026.
