Research activity description and interest :
I study interactions of particles at the highest energies using ultra-high energy cosmic rays. I mostly build theoretical models for these interactions, study how they influence the development of extensive air showers (which is what happens when cosmic rays enter the atmosphere) and develop reconstruction algorithms for the Pierre Auger Observatory.
