Research activity description and interest :
With the start of LHCb in 1996 I joined as a student to build the tracking detector and its readout electronics. This led to the development, production, installation and commissioning of the LHCb outer tracker readout electronics. After the successful start of LHCb I joined Mu3e with the responsibility for the detector. In the coming years we made many studies for the then new detector based on High Voltage Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors for Mu3e. In the last years I have helped to install and commission the LHCb SciFi tracker, which is the replacement of the original Outer and Inner Tracker. Next we will combine the SciFi tracker and a HVMAPS based inner detector to the MightyTracker of LHCb.
