International Master on Advanced methods in Particle Physics

Courses

The students attend courses corresponding to approx. 30 ECTS each semester. The list of compulsory courses at each of the universities can be found below. For each lecture, a unique identifier (IMAPP-XX-YY) is provided. This identifier can be used to find more detailed descriptions of the content and learning outcome of the courses in the handbook.

Furthermore, the students have to obtain 9 ECTS in the first two semesters by choosing courses from the list of elective courses listed under “First Year – Elective courses”. Some of the elective courses can vary from year to year and are therefore not further specified in the handbookHowever, the elective courses are announced well in advanced.
The detailed list of offered elective courses as well as course timetables are summarised on distinct pages for each starting year of the IMAPP programme:
The individual webpages are updated as soon as new information is available.
