📅 The Welcome Day was held on September 5th, 2023 at Clermont-Ferrand.
Vice-rector of the Université Clermont Auvergne Marie-Elisabeth Baudoin, the deans Laurent Trassoudaine (Ècole Universitaire de Physique et d’Ingénierie) and Kevin Kröninger (Technische Universität Dortmund), professors Stephane Monteil, Jean Orloff, Julien Donini and Angelo Carbone welcomed the new IMAPP students for the beginning of the third edition of the master.
Thirty students from all over the world gathered in Clermont-Ferrand on September 5th to start the academic year 2023/24 with the first semester of the master’s degree. They’re the first Erasmus Mundus students in the IMAPP program.
In the afternoon, the first lecture of IMAPP’s new academic year was held: prof. Vincent Morènas from Université Clermont Auvergne spoke about Quantum Field Theory.
