The Degree Award Ceremony was held on Tuesday, September 29 at the prestigious Bolognini Hall in the Convent of San Domenico.

Together with family and friends, they were celebrated by Prof. Angelo Carbone and Prof. Kevin Kröninger together with very special guest.

From University of Bologna, Prof. Luca Pasquini – delegate for Teaching at Department of Physics and Astronomy – brought institutional greetings and Prof. Fabio Maltoni gave an interesting speech regarding “Shaping the future of collider physics”.

Giulia Fazzino – former IMAPP student from 2022/24 intake – spoke about her experience before, during and after the master’s degree and the forthcoming creation of an IMAPP Alumni Association.

Gloria Guidetti starting from her work experience at Tetrapak as manager eBeam research and development told how particle physics can meet the world of industry.

Koen Denekamp concluded the talks by describing what these two years have been like from the students’ ironic point of view.

The morning ended with the announcement of the graduates and the awarding of diplomas.
