For students from 2025/27 intake
After the beginning of the new academic year in Clermont-Ferrand for the students of intake 2026/28, another start for IMAPP students.
Last September 14th, the third semester classes officially began for the 31 students of the intake 2025/27 in Bologna, at the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Augusto Righi”.
The focus of the Italian semester classes will be Scientific Computing, which will develop through three modules plus a special module in preparation for scientific research and internship orientation for the upcoming fourth semester.
The students will remain in Bologna until the end of December 2026, concluding the semester with the exams required by the master programme. It will then be up to them to decide where to spend the next semester preparing their final thesis in one of the master’s associate partners around the world.
