International Master on Advanced methods in Particle Physics

Research activity description and interest :

I am an experimental particle physicist and a member of the ATLAS Collaboration at CERN, with internationally recognised expertise in top-quark physics, particularly in the high-energy regime. My current research lies at the intersection of particle physics and quantum information, where I explore how concepts and observables from quantum information theory can be applied to particles produced at colliders, treating their spin degrees of freedom as quantum systems. I investigate this emerging field from several complementary perspectives: exploring the potential of quantum observables as novel probes of physics beyond the Standard Model, understanding the theoretical and experimental limitations of these approaches, and developing measurements of quantum observables using ATLAS collision data.
